Liven Things Up with a Little Something Live

Church congregations are rife with musical talent. They are home to small ensembles, soloists, adult choirs, bands, children’s choirs and more. If you are planning an anniversary celebration for your pastor and his wife, consider asking a few of the established musical groups to perform. Here’s a sample program you can use as a guide:

Pre-dinner/dinner music: Classic hymns performed by a string ensemble or a few acoustic guitars. No vocals, allow people to eat and enjoy their food without overly intrusive music.

After dinner music: Have the children’s choir perform two, sweet songs; nothing too heavy-handed or long. Dessert can be served as they sing.

Select a Meaningful Soundtrack

You don’t have to compose an original aria or play beautiful live music to put together a magical, musical celebration for your pastor and his wife.
